We Need [Have] a Roof: Over All the Glory, a Canopy [His Name is Jesus]
Isaiah 4:2-6
"On that day the Branch of the LORD
will be beautiful and glorious,
and the fruit of the land
will be the pride and glory of Israel's survivors.
3Whoever remains in Zion
and whoever is left in Jerusalem
will be called holy-
all in Jerusalem who are recorded among the living-
4when the Lord has washed away
the filth of the daughters of Zion
and cleansed the bloodstains from the heart of Jerusalem
by a spirit of judgment and a spirit of fire.
5Then the LORD will create over all of Mount Zion
and over her assemblies
a cloud of smoke by day
and a glowing flame of fire by night.
For over all the glory
there will be a canopy,
6a shelter to give shade
from the heat by day,
and a refuge and hiding place
from the storm and the rain."
We are always grateful for those God has recruited to support WoH and the church construction,* which God has used to bring hundreds to Jesus Christ in just a matter of months! But though the support stream seems to be thriving, it's not. Most of the money sent over to WoH and the church has come from a single donor. However, that well has now run dry, and we are asking all our prayer warriors and monetary supporters to seek the Throne of Grace with us. While we have seen an average support of a few hundred dollars per month, for which we are exceedingly grateful, the needs are requiring thousands a month, besides the $21,000 needed to roof the church building [provided].
We are looking for Jesus to multiply the loaves and fish again. But remember, He starts with the smallest gift of an open heart.
Once again, we want to put forth the desire to see the ministry joined by other churches. We long to see the comradery of the Body. If you are part of a church, please prayerfully consider bringing this project before your church so that they may be blessed and a blessing.
May our Lord show Himself faithful.
John 6:9: "Here is a boy with five barley loaves and two small fish. But what difference will these make among so many?"
Mark 8:17-21:
Aware of their conversation, Jesus asked them, "Why are you debating about having no bread? Do you still not see or understand? Do you have such hard hearts? 18'Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear?' And do you not remember? 19When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many basketfuls of broken pieces did you collect?"
"Twelve," they answered.
20"And when I broke the seven loaves for the four thousand, how many basketfuls of broken pieces did you collect?"
"Seven," they said.
21Then He asked them, "Do you still not understand?"
